Bar/ DJ Booth Meeting - 4/15/2025

• Design review
  • Initial review 
    • Wire shelving is likely not sturdy enough for the demands of a bar (people dancing on tables, heavy coolers). The wood top also is likely to warp/weather quickly. 
    • The steel table aesthetic was appreciated for its stability. Ideas included acrylic detailing on sides of table, stenciling on top, naming the bar. Other comments are included on the miro board.
  • Next steps
    • Alex - working with John on acrylic design
    • Jeremy - will think through structure design, order sample of corrugated material
    • John - coordinate with Alex (on acrylic design templates/possibilities) and Jeremy (testing construction, lighting/application)

  • Where/when/who is doing what:
    • This could be good project to complete in SF, given the availability of turtle truck for shipping and acrylic making.
    • Both Alex and Jeremy are going to build,build week, and can test ideas there 
    • Schedule another meeting in 1-2 weeks to see where we are.
